홍콩이 2024년 4월 15일 비트코인과 이더리움 ETF 홍콩 ETF(Exchange-Traded Fund)거래를 승인했습니다. 이는 아시아에서 최초로 비트코인 및 이더리움 현물 ETF를 승인한 것입니다.

 

Hong Kong has approved Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF Hong Kong exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for trading on April 15, 2024, making it the first jurisdiction in Asia to approve Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs.

 

홍콩 ETF 승인 날짜인 4월 15일 홍콩 증권선물위원회(SFC)는 차이나애셋매니지먼트(ChinaAMC), 보세라 자산운용, 해시키 캐피털, 하베스트 글로벌 인베스트먼트 등이 신청한 비트코인과 이더리움 현물 ETF를 승인했습니다.

 

On April 15, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) approved the Spot bitcoin and Spot Ethereum ETFs applied for by China Asset Management (ChinaAMC), Bosera Asset Management, Hashiki Capital, and Harvest Global Investments.

홍콩, 세계 최초로 이더리움 현물 ETF 승인 Hong Kong approves world's first spot ETF for Ethereum 

이에 따라 홍콩은 이더리움 ETF를 허용한 세계 최초의 국가가 되었으며, 아시아에서 처음으로 비트코인 ETF를 승인한 나라가 되었습니다. 현재 독일, 캐나다 및 미국이 비트코인 ETF를 승인한 국가들입니다. 앞서 미국은 1월에 첫 번째 비트코인 현물 ETF를 승인한 바 있습니다. 그러나 이더리움 ETF는 아직 검토 중인 것으로 알려져 있습니다.

 

This makes Hong Kong the first country in the world to allow an Ethereum ETF, and the first in Asia to approve a Bitcoin ETF. Germany, Canada, and the US are currently the only countries to approve Bitcoin ETFs. The US previously approved its first Bitcoin spot ETF in January, but an Ethereum ETF is reportedly still under review.
